OVATIONS Partners with PLANIXS to Enter South African and African Markets

Planixs, the world’s leading provider of real-time, intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management solutions, and Ovations Technologies, South Africa’s leading information and communications technology (ICT) systems integration specialists, have today announced their partnership to bring Planixs’ real-time treasury software suite, Realiti®, to financial institutions in the South Africa and African markets.

Through its modular Realiti software, Planixs provides treasury functions with the ability to gain real-time visibility of their cash, collateral and liquidity at any point during the day, allowing them to use this insight to improve treasury operations, better manage liquidity risk, ensure regulatory compliance and reduce overdraft and liquidity buffer costs.

With Realiti, financial institutions can consolidate millions of cash flows per hour, in real-time, to ensure they have an accurate picture of cash balances across all accounts and are able to control liquidity requirements and usage in real-time. Available on premise or in the cloud, the solution also helps firms to comply with global and local regulatory requirements and incorporates stress testing capabilities, allowing them to apply a range of stress scenarios in order to understand, monitor and prepare to mitigate any intraday liquidity stresses.

The software is used in a large number of global financial institutions and banking firms including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), SIX Group, Scotiabank and Zenith Bank – who are all benefitting from real-time control over their cash and liquidity.
